Today in Tha Wire Marlon Wayans is set to host hilarious TV show coming to NBC and new details emerge in death of Brownstone singer Charmayne 'Maxee' Maxwell.

Allhiphop reports NBC is launching a brand new variety show called, I Can Do That!  The new show will put celebrities against each other to see who do things better.  It's gonna be entertaining that's for sure, especially with a host like Marlon Wayans.  NBC will air six episodes of the hour-long show starting this summer.

The cast will include songbird Ciara, comedian Jeff Dye, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and a variety of other celebs.  Each week Hollywood's finest will separate into two teams and face off in a variety challenges from dancing to taking on dangerous stunts and more.

Production is taking the celebrity cast all over the world, to include 15 countries like Brazil, Spain, Mexico and more.

Finally, as previously reported  46-year old singer Charmayne "Maxee" Maxwell of the R&B group Brownstone, died in a tragic accident last week.  Now BET.com reports her husband and son are ready to speak about their loss.  Together they released a statement Monday (March 2) expressing their grief over the singers shocking and untimely death, thanking everyone for their prayers and well wishes.

In a joint statement Carsten and son Nicolaj Hojer Schack told BET.com:

“Words can not express how devastated we are at the sudden and tragic loss of our dear Maxee.  She was the center of our world as a devoted mother and wife. We miss her so much. We would like to thank everyone who has been there for us and expressed your condolences. They have given us comfort over these incredibly difficult days.”
