Since the beginning of the year Master P’s family drama has been all over the news, from social media, youtube to the tabloids.  In a recent episode of The Wendy Williams Show the talk show diva put Master P on blast, accusing the rap mogul of trying to build hype for his up-coming reality TV show.

In a statement obtained by AllHipHop, Master P responded to Wendy’s accusations and said she’s got her info about his show twisted.  In a brief excerpt of his statement P said,

First of all, I thought Wendy Williams was my friend. I understand that her job is to entertain gossip but how could she keep picking up TMZ gossip as if it was real news when she should have contacted me directly if she was really concerned about my family, or me like she claims.

“After 24 years of keeping our family personal life private, we are ready to share with the world our life experiences, the trials, tribulations and accomplishments that come with being a successful family of musicians and entertainers. As a music mogul and being one of the most successful music entrepreneurs in the business, I was forced to deal with the harsh reality of going through a divorce, while being a father to my kids even as a single parent. It’s challenging as a public figure because of the gossip, false accusations and negative media. Due to the need of media outlets to sell headlines and news stories, celebrities are labeled guilty until proven innocent. I feel like our private lives have been invaded and with all of this technology, social media and TMZ, our lives are more open to scrutiny. Our reality show will expose the truth.”

In the meantime, while Master P didn't appreciate Wendy throwing shade, as you see he did admit he has a reality TV show coming out.  As a matter of fact I got more details below inside Tha Wire, so be sure to check it out.

Finally All Hip Hop reports, rapper/actor Yasiin Bey (formally known as Mos Def) had to cancel his upcoming U.S. tour over immigration issues.   At this time it’s still unclear as to what those issues are, but he did give up his U.S. citizenship and that could be a issue.  Whatever the problem is, it’s barring his re-entry into the U.S.

Last year Bey became a permanent resident of Cape Town, Africa and explained why he move in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine saying, after visiting Cape Town, “, I thought about this place every day from when I left." So, I came and I said I'm not leaving, I'm staying” and he’s been there ever since.

In the meantime concert organizers' are dealing with the fall out and posted a message on their website last week announcing that they had to cancel the shows and were issuing refunds.

"We regret to inform you that due to immigration / legal issues Yasiin Bey is unable to enter back into the United States and his upcoming U.S. tour has been canceled, including May 15th, Together Boston's show at The Wilbur Theatre. Individual ticket refunds for this show are available at point of sale."
