Can you believe it’s been 20 years since Master P released his Ice Cream Man album? To commemorate the platinum selling album he dropped by Sway to discuss his legacy, playing ball at the same college at Sway, and much more!

On March 30,1996 Master P released the album that would set him up to open the flood gates for southern hip-hop, and allowing him to later sign one of the still most unheard of record deals ever. Ice Cream Man was P’s fifth studio album, leading up the album that turned him into a house hold name, Ghetto D.

P also talked about what it took to get him to his legendary status, how he hustled to sell music out the trunk of his car, picking up uptempo music from the Bay Area, owning his own music store, and more.
