With 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend taking place in his hometown of New Orleans, it's only right that Master P did something special.

The No Limit founder had eyes watering when he invited 14-year-old Jarrius Robertson to join in the action in the Celebrity All-Star Game on Friday night (Feb. 17). Robertson is an N.O. youth and famed New Orleans Saints' super fan, who happens to suffer from liver disease called biliary atresia.

The pint-sized Robertson made the most of his burn, draining his very first shot attempt over a towering defender. “I love the kids," said P after the game. "I had to get Jarrius in the game, move the big people out of the way for him and let him do what he do best, get buckets. This little kid is an all-star, he has the biggest heart and I'm happy I met him. Even in his condition, he's still happy and smiling. What a blessing, he’s truly the real MVP of the NBA Celebrity Game.”

He added, “This kid is special and he wears the heart of New Orleans on his sleeve. He deserves the MVP trophy and I will make sure he gets one."

"I wanted to play," said Jarrius in a post-game interview. "I told the coach before I met him I wanted to play. He said, 'We're going to make it happen.' And that's how I made the shot."

The Big Easy was lit AF over the weekend, with a lot of homegrown talent putting on for the city. The Hot Boys - sans B.G. - reunited and performed at a Beats event, which was hosted by LeBron James. “We got Tunechi, Juvie, Mannie and Turk in here tonight in their backyard in New Orleans,” Bron Bron said, while introducing the crew. “I grew up on these boys right here…I had to let y’all know that everything that goes on tonight, you better appreciate the shit, because it may not happen again.”

There was also a Jay Electronica sighting. And a possible update on the release of his album.

Even DJ Khaled, who is originally from New Orleans, participated in the 2017 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, by providing an assist to the Los Angeles Clippers' DeAndre Jordan.
