According to Complex, Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes attacked Knicks head coach Derek Fisher when he found out Fisher was dating his estranged wife. Barnes fires back at claims he drove 95 miles to get there.

Barnes and Fisher were teammates when they played for the Los Angeles Lakers, but now Barnes want’s nothing to do with him.

The attack reportedly happened at the Los Angeles home of Gloria Govan. After speaking with his twin sons over FaceTime, Barnes felt something wasn’t considerably right, because the boys were up past 10 p.m., and that’s when one of the boys told him,

'Mommy's friend Derek is here.’

When Barnes learned that his former teammate was at his ex-wifes home, he said he actually only had to drive 15 minutes to get there, and that’s when he reportedly tried to "beat the s–t" out of Fisher. Several reports state the NBA star drove 95 miles to beat up the Knicks coach, but Barnes said that isn’t true.
