Baton Rouge icon Max Minelli told me last year about a documentary that he was working on. The title of the doc is "Diamonds in The Dirt". When I heard the concept I immediately loved the concept. There are so many artist coming out of Baton Rouge, but what about the artist who knocked  the door down. You had artist like MC Nero, C-Loc, Beelow and countless others. These are the ones who paved the way for Kevin Gates and Boosie.

Well the documentary is here and it also includes some of the dj's who are known in the market as well. Check out the trailer for the upcoming documentary that will finally give Baton Rouge the acknowledgement needed for being one of the premier meccas of the Louisiana sound.
