I am a huge hip hop fans and when I look at some of the beefs today within the music. I have to admit, they don't really appeal to me like the beefs from back in the day. I came up during the time where Ice Cube demolished NWA and when Common got at Ice Cube back in the day. There are times now where folks are actually throwing shade and not actually dropping names.

One of the best beefs from back in the day was when MC Eiht and DJ Quik had a beef going back and forth. They actually showed up at events and dissed each other like real men do. They also met up and discussed things and dropped the issues like grown men as well. Check out the interview with MC Eiht where he actually talked about the beef with Quik and how they squashed the drama.

MC Eiht addressed beef with DJ Quik and how they squashed:

I'm glad the guys got it worked out and I would love to see these guys work on an album together in the near future. With DJ Quik on the beats and Eiht running some of the lyrics. You can believe that it would be a classic for the fans like myself. Check out a few classic joints from the both of them.
