McNeese State will hold its final football scrimmage of August camp on Wednesday night in Cowboy Stadium during the annual Cowboy Night.

In what is a pre-season preview of all the elements that are involved in a football game at Cowboy Stadium, Coach Matt Viator said that his team would play a couple of 15 minute halves.

The Cowboys will get on the field to warm up at 5:55 p.m. and will begin the scrimmage at 6:25 p.m.

Also getting in a pre-season performance will be the McNeese cheerleaders, the Cowgirl Kickers and McNeese’s marching band, the Pride of McNeese.

Following the scrimmage a “Back in the Saddle” party will be held on the south end of the stadium featuring country singer Jaclyn Graves.

The after scrimmage party will also feature giveaways and prizes.

There is no admission charge.
