Meek Mill And Nicki Minaj Engaged? – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire, Meek Mill gave Nicki Minaj at 15-carat rock valued at $500,000 and Lil Wayne's former bus driver sues after Weezy pulls a gun on him.

AllHipHop reports Hip Hop's newest couple may be tying the knot soon.  Meek Mill has reportedly "put a ring on it" and looking to lock things down with Nicki Minaj.  Whether the couple is really engaged hasn't been confirmed by neither of them just yet. However, Meek did present the Young Money femcee with a 15-carat yellow heart diamond ring, mounted in platinum with a double halo of white pavé diamonds.  The ring is reportedly valued at $500,000.

A source told Eonline, “Both Meek and Nicki have been spending amazing quality time together lately and have gotten extremely close these past few months.  It may seem like it all is happening very quickly but Nicki and Meek are in this 100. They truly love each other.”  E is also alluding to the fact that we might be hearing some baby news in the very near future as well.  As their source revealed "Nicki and Meek have discussed family and children," once the engagement rumors surfaced. The insider shared, "They are both on board as soon as they get married."

That story actually matches up with a comment Minaj made during a recent interview with Complex Magazine.  The rap diva said, "I definitely will be married before I have my baby, I've always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head. On that same note she said by the time she released her fifth album, she "will  have walked down the aisle" and will "at least be on baby number one, possibly baby number two."  So far, she's got three albums under her belt.

In another AllHipHop story, Lil Wayne’s former bus driver has filed suit against him claiming the Young Money founder pulled a gun on him and threatened to kill him.  Mark Jones alleges Weezy went ballistic when he stopped for gas in Buffalo, after a gig in New York during a 2014 tour.

Today in Tha Wire Meek Mill "put a ring on it,"

According to TMZ, Jones claims when he pulled over for gas, Wayne got agitated and began cursing.  He goes on to say Wayne made such of fuss, he pulled off and didn't refuel the bus. However, that allegedly didn't calm Weezy down.  The driver claims in his suit, Wayne began threatening to pistil " whip [his] ass" and finish the job by killing him.

Jones says at that point, Wayne came to the front of the bus and pointed a gun and cocked it,  demanding, "I want to get to the hotel now."

Jones is suing for an unspecified amount for false imprisonment, assault and emotional distress.  So far, there's no comment on the issue from Lil Wayne's camp.
