Meek Mill's triumphant return continues with his announcement on Wednesday (June 6) of two new high-profile show dates. The "1942 Flows" rapper shared on social media that he will perform at the BET Experience on June 22, as well as the 2018 BET Awards, airing on June 24.

"Looking forward to returning to the stage to perform at this year’s BET Awards and BET Experience," Meek said in a statement to Billboard. "I wouldn’t be here without all my amazing fans who have supported me more than ever these last few months, so this year’s BET Experience concert at Staples Center is going to be extra special. Can’t wait to see y’all there." He'll join his ex-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, as a performer at the event as well as Migos.

The news follows a string of festival bookings since the rapper was released from prison in April after a months-long legal battle over an alleged probation violation. The Philly legend was recently added to this year's lineups for the Hot 97 Summer Jam and Roc Nation's Made in America Festival. He also performed in May at Rolling Loud in Miami.

Meek is no stranger to the BET Awards, either, having performed at the 2012 and 2015 installments. He also reportedly organized the Philadelphia cypher featured in the 2016 edition of the hip-hop awards show.

In addition to earning some well-deserved checks, Meek in his newfound freedom has given some thoughtful interviews about his incarceration, partnered with Jay-Z to create a documentary series on the criminal justice system, and declined an invitation to the White House. He also caught some playoff basketball.
