In other news, can a brotha ever get a break?  The L.A. City Attorney has filed a pair of criminal charges against Chris Brown for fleeing the scene of an accident, TMZ reports.

Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't look like he's trying to run.  What about you?
As previously reported, last month Breezy got into a minor collision with a woman.  The 24-year-old hit the woman's Mercedes, and was accused of giving false insurance information and allegedly wouldn't hand over his ID before fleeing the scene.

Chris released this following statement on Twitter:

"It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous, I have a valid driver’s license and I gave the woman the right info.  She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene.   She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures. My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism!"

None the less, L.A.’s City Attorney is expected to forward the charges to the local D.A. over Chris’s potential probation violation.  Believe it or not, I do have some good news to report on Chris Brown.  Listen to Tha Wire below to get the scoop.
