MLK Holiday: Garbage, Trash, & Recycling Collection Rescheduled for City of Lake Charles

Lake Charles, La. — There will be no trash or garbage pickup on Monday, January 18, in Lake Charles, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Pickup for Monday will be rescheduled for Tuesday, January 19, and the regular schedule for Tuesday will be picked up on Wednesday, January 20. Routes for Thursday and Friday will remain as regularly scheduled, said Matt Young (City of Lake Charles).

All services from the Department of Public Works, and all city departments will be closed on Monday, January 18. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, January 19.
