The city of Lake Charles and the United States Postal Service will open its newly renovated post office to the public, Tuesday, January 20th. The renovations will make doing mail business and getting mail services more convenient.
The post office is inside the Allen P. August Multi-Purpose Center on 2001 Moeling Street in North Lake Charles, Office hours are 8am to Noon and 1pm to 5pm Monday - Friday. Services being offered include postage, envelopes, priority mail and express mail, Residents can also purchase money orders, postal boxes and enjoy the convenience of the overnight drop receptacles,
