It's been three years since R&B songstress, Monica, had released an album.  Fans will be happy to know, the wait is over.  Rap-up.com reports Monica is back in the studio and putting the final touches on her new project, Code Red.  This will be her first LP since 2012, but it's all good and Mrs. Thing is coming out the gate with a monster single.

Throughout her career Monica has always been known for fire ballads and in keeping with that trend, she's teamed-up with Lil Wayne on the track, “Just Right for Me.”  Sitting down with Rap-up.com, the R&B diva said of her new song,

“It’s a record about just being in love and there’s no perfect person, but there is a perfect person for you and that’s the way it is by design.”

She continued. “I talked about everything from heartbreak and love to being married and having children to being a woman who owns her own company and how hard it is to make certain things happen because of it.”

By the way, Monica is working with super-producers Polow, Timbaland, Missy Elliott, and Dallas Austin to make sure Code Red is a chart topping LP.  So far, no release date has been announced.  As always, I'll keep you posted.  In the meantime listen to her new single below and let up know what you think.
