Moody Gardens Festival Of Lights

Jerri Hamachek's from Moody Gardens stopped by the station this morning with giveaways and details about this years Festival of Lights. 

Moody Gardens is open year round in Galveston Texas and the perfect place to experience exotic animals, white sand beaches and family fun.  Plus, this year will mark the 11th year of the Festival of Lights celebration and like Jerri said it's getting bigger and bigger.  With well over a mile of Christmas lights, and ice skating rink, a snow slide and much.

By the way, just in time for Halloween Sunday October 28th from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m head over for Spooktacular fun this Halloween weekend at Moody Gardens!  Enjoy free trick-or-treating at various locations throughout the complex, Creepy Crafts, face-painting and a children's costume contest in the Moody Gardens Visitor Center with prizes for the best costumes.

Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume the day of the event to receive $5 admission to each Moody Gardens attraction.  So, make plans to visit Moody Garden's this Halloween and Christmas holiday season.  For more information on tickets, directions and events click here.
