Movies Under the Stars Spring Series 2016 [VIDEO]

Calcasieu Parish Police Jury invites area residents to come out and enjoy the Movies Under The Stars Spring Series 2016 at Prien Lake Park, located at 3700 W Prien Lake Rd. in Lake Charles. Watch some of the biggest movies to hit the box office under the stars, starting Friday, April 1 through Friday, April 22.

This is the ultimate way to watch a movie and enjoy a night out. Below is a look at the movies airing this Spring.

April 1 - Hop

April 8 - Inside Out

April 15 - Open Season: Scared Silly

April 22 - The Good Dinosaur

For all the first timers all the movie's will begin at dusk/7 p.m. or so. There is NO ADMISSION, this is a free event open to the public. So come on out and enjoy some R&R or family time. Bring your favorite blankets or lawn chairs and all your favorite refreshments and snacks. Fresh popcorn and other tasty treats from Tikiz Gulf Coast and Mr. Gatti's Pizza will be available for purchase as well.

Of course the event will be canceled till the next scheduled date, in the event of inclement weather.
