Mustard Proposes to Longtime Girlfriend

Mustard just made his longtime girlfriend Chanel Thierry one happy woman. On Saturday night (Oct. 27), the producer popped the question and she accepted.

In video of the proposal, the "Dangerous World" beat maker is seen on one knee with the ring in hand. The people in attendance, who appear to be family and friends, scream in celebration. Chanel gets emotional and begins to cry tears of joy. The two then share a warm embrace. "The best moment of my life. My best friend proposed to me," she captioned the video.

In another clip, she shows off her sizable engagement ring, which reportedly cost $500,000. "This is so big," she says, holding back tears.

Mustard and Chanel have been together several years and have two children together.

The 10 Summers label head isn't the only hip-hop artist to recently pop the question. Chance The Rapper asked for his longtime girlfriend's hand in marriage in July. Earlier this month, they hosted an engagement party that was attended by friends and family. Chano shared photos from the special moment on Instagram.

Mustard has been enjoying a big year musically, having struck gold with the signing of Ella Mai. Her single "Boo'd Up" reached the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 and was easily one of the hottest songs of the summer, making her a breakout artist in 2018.
