Nate Parker talks to The Breakfast Club about his new movie "The Birth of a Nation" which is the story of Nat Turner, who was a controversial figure who a lot of folks have never heard about. The movie did wonders at Sundance and really caught the attention of the major theaters who wanted to get on board and release the movie universally.

Recently, Nate came under fire from an incident that happened years ago in 1999 when he and his roommate were accused of raping a young lady who committed suicide in 2012. He has been moving around on a promo tour to talk about "The Birth Of A Nation", and has had to answer to some news media about the incident. While he addresses it, he was acquitted and refuses to apologize about the incident.

This Friday, the entire world will have the chance to see "The Birth Of A Nation", and he recently talked to The Breakfast Club about the upcoming movie and other things going on in his life.
