Christopher “Big Punisher” Rios has been dead for 14-years now.  The rapper passed away in 2000 from a heart attack, he was only 28.  As we all know, he was a big guy and unfortunately struggled with his weight all his life.  At the time of his death he was 698 pounds, of course the excessive weight attributed to his untimely death.

Pun left behind a wife, 3 children and a career that was on its way to unimaginable heights.  The Latin MC broke onto the Hip Hop scene in 1998 with his debut album Capital PunishmentThe album was fire and became the 1st rap album, by a Latin rapper to sell over one million copies.

Hip Hop fans everywhere have missed him dearly, but thanks to super producer Domingo and Deranged Music, his legacy in music has been given new life.

AllHipHop reports, the Bronx rapper’s music will live on with the upcoming release of Bronx Legends Never Die.  The project was executive produced by Domingo and best of all Pun’s family gave their blessings for the album to be released.  So here’s the deal, only 100 physical copies are gonna be made and fans will have a limited window of opportunity to cop them.  The CD will drop on December 23rd and this is the link, indiegogo.com to pre-order it.

Finally, it’s congrats to rapper/actor/TV host  Xzibit and his new wife Krista Joiner.  The Dailymail reports the two married over the weekend with a lavish wedding in front of family and friends near Laguna Beach, Calif.  For their reception, the happy couple and a few hundred guests took the party to St. Regis in Monarch Beach.

Unfortunately, Xzibit didn't get to party to long.  Find out why and listen to Tha Wire now and get even more info on Big Puns new album.
