New Details Emerge in Murder of Rapper Lil Snupe

Just one day after news broke of Louisiana rapper Lil Snupe's death, new details surrounding the murder of the budding 18 year old rap star surfaces. Yesterday CBS affiliate KNOE confirmed the death of Lil Snupe (born Addarren Ross), as well as additional details surrounding his death.

Early Thursday morning (June 20th) Lil Snupe suffered two fatal gunshot wounds to the chest at the Maplewood Apartment Complex, in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Winnfield Police reported that they have a suspect in connection with Lil Snupe's murder, but they are not releasing any names.

Meek Mill, the Philly rapper and mentor who had just signed Lil Snupe to his DreamChaser's label took to twitter to share his condolences. Meek suggested that Snupe's "nefarious activity" here in Louisiana as the cause for his murder.
