50 Cent has made of few headlines over the last couple of months, from being a no-show at his sons graduation, his now infamous first pitch at the Mets game, to the recent chain snatching incident at Hot 97’s Summer Jam.   But hopefully, he can turn the negative to positives with the release of his highly anticipated ‘Animal Instinct.’

This is 50’s first album since his departure from Interscope Records and includes his new single ‘Smoke’ featuring Trey Songz, plus other artist features from Yo Gotti, Stlyes P, Jadakiss and more.

Speaking of Trey Songz, he’ll release his new album, ‘Trigga’ later this month.  The R&B heartthrob’s new project will include 13 tracks with four additional songs featured on the deluxe edition.  Of course the ‘Trigga’ will include his DJ Mustard produced hit “Na Na” as well as appearances from Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign, Justin Bieber and more.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Nicki Minaj or Lil Wayne pull a Beyonce and release their forth coming projects without notice.  Pharrell Williams took a page from Bey and it’s not to far fetched to think Weezy and the Queen Barb will do the same.  So far, the Young Money MC’s are keeping release dates for ‘Pink Print’ and ‘Tha Carter V’ on the hush.

By the way, Maxwell is making his return to music and the road this month!  Listen to Tha Wire below to find out where he's been and what he has planned this month.  In the meantime, the following is a look at other new album releases this month:

Finally, according to Ray J early reports regarding his arrest at a Beverly Hills hotel last Friday (May 30) night aren't completely accurate.  The singer who’s real name is Willie Ray Norwood Jr., was arrested after he grabbed an unidentified woman's behind at the Regent Wilshire Hotel.

When police arrived on the scene, Ray J was willing to leave and they ruled the situation incidental.  But authorities say, the singer’s mistake was when he changed his mind and decided to stay.  He was then arrested and authorities say he became unruly and in addition to spitting on a cop, he kicked out a squad car window.

The 33-year-old was booked for vandalism, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer.  In his defense, the singer claims he says he didn't intentionally spit on anyone, and broke the window because he became "very claustrophobic" inside the squad car.

Listen to Tha Wire now and find out what happened next.  Plus, find out what celebs are celebrating birthdays and more.
