A teen intervened a robbery in progress of a Popeyes in New Orleans East while interviewing for a job.

The suspect grabbed an unspecified amount of money from the register as the clerk gave him his change. The assistant manager grab the thief's arm, and that’s when a brief struggle ensued.

According to News 6, the 18-year-old applicant grabbed the suspect from behind and put him in a reverse bear hug until police arrived. Officers were reportedly already in route.

It’s safe to say he was hired after his split second decision to help someone who was in trouble.
