I had heard about the artist Vince Staples about a year ago. Although I had never heard his music and had to take a listen to see what he was all about. Unfortunately now he is getting some flack for statements that he recently made.

During an interview with Time Magazine, he mentioned being born in the 90's and saying that the 90's get plenty of credit. Although he doesn't understand why that is and only mentions Jay -Z and Notorious BIG as being relevant.

Well the word got back to Noreaga whose a east coast mc and one half of Capone and Noreaga. The two emcees exchanged words over the debate. According to Allhiphop.com, Vince apologized to any emcees that felt they were slighted. It has to make you wonder if he was just feeling himself or promoting himself.
