Drake was shockingly candid in a recent interview with Britain's Guardian newspaper a few weeks ago, where he admitted to turning to marijuana, prescription pills and even codeine to cope.  Drake said it's extremely stressful being a star and said that he has had to get high, just to calm down.

Drizzy said, "You get artists in this position who go crazy and don't know how to handle it.  There are people who have killed themselves.  There's the overwhelming stress, how tired you are, the weight on your shoulders of going out there and giving 18,000 people entertainment...it's a lot of pressure."

After being thrust into the spotlight a little more than 3 years ago and dropping his debut monster "Thank Me Later", Drake confessed be began smoking and sipping sizurp to keep relaxed.  However, he insists he doesn't have a addiction to anything, saying that he's only used in moderation.

Drake added, "It's scary for me to say this on record, but artists are only human and we seek validation like everyone else.  You just have to come to the conclusion that it's OK, there are goin to be people who like you and people who don't.  Luckily, there are millions of people who love me and a few who don't."
