According to TMZ, Mariah and Nick have signed a confidentiality agreement as part of their alleged pending divorce. Apparently, Nick can talk about how the two are now living separately, but not the actual divorce or face “severe financial penalties.” Mariah is allegedly open to announce the divorce on her terms.

Thursday this week, the 33-year old Cannon broke his silence and publicly confirm the couple has been estranged for a while.  After 6-years of marriage and 3-year old twins, Nick told The Insider he and 44-year old Mariah were going through a “rough patch” adding, "We have been living in separate houses for a few months, (Right now) my main focus is my kids." TMZ first reported ... the divorce is a "done deal"  and supposedly their property settlement and child custody have already been hashed out.

Sources close to Mariah told E! News, "They have been living apart for a while. This is not all of a sudden. There have been issues between them for a while. They are not getting along." One of the biggest issues is time.  It’s been said Nick schedule keeps him away from his wife and kids a lot and that has caused major problems for them.  But the straw that broke to camel’s back, is when Nick discussed his prior dealings with Kim Kardashian on Big Boy’s radio show in March.

That DID NOT SIT WELL with Mrs. Mariah Carey.  Word has it....since ya boy talked smashing with Big Boy, things between the two have been worse.  Hear how much worse below inside Tha Wire.  It’s unfortunate and sincerely hope they can work it out.  Best wishes to them both.
