Nick Cannon checks in with The Breakfast Club to promote his latest mixtape The Gospel of Ike Turn Up, and he also dishes on writing for Kanye West on “Gold Digger," how he feels about Drake as a lyricist, is he expecting a new baby, and more.

The “Wild N’ Out” host has received flack for his latest mixtape, and even spoke about writing for Kanye West stating “I never wrote no smashes, but I’ve been in the Kanye [writing] camps early on,” said Cannon. “I was there during ‘Gold Digger.’ I wrote that bar for Kanye: ‘We don’t need to stop. I make black history every day. I don’t need a month.’ That was me.”

Though Nick acknowledged that Drake is one of the biggest rappers currently, and he’s a fan, but he doesn’t think the Toronto rapper can go up against another rapper bar-for-bar.” He does make it clear that Kanye West is a true lyricist, and backs up the proof telling The Breakfast Club that he has battled the “Father Stretch My Hands” rapper before.

When asked about a new baby on the way with an ex-girlfriend, the actor/comedian/rapper denied he’s expecting another child citing “I got a song with K. Michelle called baby on the way.” He further states, "I don’t have any ex’s, they turn everybody into my ex,” said Cannon.
