While the day-time talk show queen stories have pretty much been a closed book. There is now something that she is very excited to talk about. Oprah Winfrey has always been able to get to the bottom of family issues, well now Ms. Winfrey has been hit with a big surprise. An addition to her family, by way of a newly added sister.
An emotional Oprah Winfrey says that one of the most impressive things about a Milwaukee woman’s discovery that the two are half-sisters is that the woman never tried to take advantage of her or sell her story.

On “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that aired Monday, Winfrey announced that she was related to a woman identified only as Patricia. She says Patricia had known the two were related since 2007. Even though she continually tried to reach Winfrey, she never went to the media or otherwise publicized her discovery.
Patricia appeared on the show and explained that she felt it was important that she talk to Winfrey herself and not let someone else tell her.
Man, talk about surprises! That’s the kinda family tree we would all like to be apart of. Hopefully things will work out and they can establish the kind of relationship that all sisters need. Rarely do you find someone who ultimately just wants your acceptance rather then your earnings. Big shouts out to her sister Patricia for that, hopefully she won’t be swayed by the sudden media attention she will be receiving.
