Everyday that I wake up, the first thing I do is check out the email on my phone to see if maybe I missed something from work or there are some things pressing that need to be addressed. When I woke up Sunday morning and looked at my phone I could not help but to be taken aback from the headlines.

It read that there had been a mass shooting in an Orlando club that had killed 20 people and wounded others. It wasn't until later that I saw there had been 49 fatalities with the shooting. Then as I continued to research and check other sources, I saw alot of other things unfold. This was truly a sad day and there were countless lives lost for no reasons other then insecurities within an individual.

There are 50 families who will never get to see their loved ones again and over 50 more whose families will never be the same after being shot and surviving. I was truly saddened and  I still am thinking about it today. We have a problem and instead of pointing fingers, we need to work on stopping the judgmental hating and try to specialize in bringing more love to the situation. Either way, my prayers are with all of those affected by this horrendous crime that has truly made us even more cautious about the way we are living.
