February 17, 2012 Here it comes! The biggest Mardi Gras party in Southwest Louisiana is back! The 2nd Annual Lundi Gras party is Monday February 20th, 2012 with Keith Frank at Yesterdays Night Club!
Last year, the Lundi Gras party was legendary and talked about months after it happened. Keith Frank rocked the roof off Yesterdays! So you definitely don’t want to miss out on the party this year!

February 13, 2012 During this time of the year "Mardi Gras", the street sweeper is a God send. It would be one heck of a job if all the trash, bottle, beads, candy, food etc had to be manually swept or picked up. Instead of it taking a couple of hours, with the thousands of parade goers on the loose, it would take weeks.
February 9, 2012 Mardi Gras parade routes will be shifting this year, thanks to construction in the downtown area. The City of Lake Charles and Mardi Gras of Southwest Louisiana released the new route map yesterday.

It's carnival time, Mardi Gras time and every Mardi Gras Krewe state wide is struttin' their stuff for Louisiana's biggest and most popular festivals. January 18, 2012 It's that time of year again people! The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is a must see. You have to go at least once to experience the rich culture and festive atmosphere of beautiful New Orleans, not to mention the thousands of people and artists that flock to the event each year. Speaking of which, this year it'll all kick off April 27th -May 6th and as with every year the line up is incredible.

Mardi Gras this year is on February 21st and it kicks off with the 12th night celebration this Friday night January 6th, 2012 at the Lake Charles Civic Center!
World Famous New Orleans known for Mardi Gras, The Saints, and Bourbon Street was founded on this day in 1718. I wonder if the first street paved was Bourbon Street and i wonder what kind of bar was on it??
