PartyNextDoor and one of his friends were reportedly arrested for drug posession in New York yesterday (Oct. 5) as he was crossing a bridge into the United States. The Toronto singer and songwriter was arrested for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge after state troopers were called to help the U.S. Customs and Border personnel for an inspection.

According to WIVB, the two were riding in a bus as they were crossing into the U.S. when they were stopped for a secondary inspection by authorities. PND was reportedly found in possession of Xanax and Oxycodone, while his friend, Jerome Nevins, was found in possession of Xanax. The two were issued appearance tickets returnable in the town of Lewiston Court. There's no word on when the two may have to go to court following their arrests.

Late last month, PND surprised fans with his new Seven Days EP, which contained seven new tracks, including a Rick Ross collab. He also recently dropped a new song for his supporters called "Own Up to Your Shit," which fans believe may be taking shots at his ex-girlfriend Kehlani. At the beginning of September, Party graced fans with an unexpected collaboration track called "Cartier" with Jadakiss.

Hopefully PND can get this case straightened out and get back to the music.
