Paul Walker Autopsy Results Revealed

Paul Walker
Pacific Coast News

Paul Walker‘s autopsy was initially delayed while the coroner awaited dental records as the bodies were said to be unidentifiable. Now, the examination has been completed and the results have been revealed.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner released their report today (Dec. 4), indicating that the actor, 40, died of traumatic and thermal injuries on Nov. 30. That pretty much means that the impact of the crash and burns are what killed the ‘Fast and Furious’ star.

The driver, Walker’s friend Roger Rodas, 38, died of multiple traumatic injuries.

The injuries were the result of an automobile versus fixed objects (aka the trees and pole they hit while operating the car, likely at a high rate of speed).

The deaths have been ruled an accident. A toxicology report will be conducted on both Walker and Rodas. The results will be made available in six to eight weeks.

Investigators have indicated that speed is a lead factor in the crash, while other theories have surfaced. The second car theory has been dismissed while the suggestion that there may have been a steering fluid leak has been offered by car enthusiasts who are familiar with this particular vehicle, which is said to be difficult to handle.
