Pedestrian Fixing a Traffic Light Goes Wrong

There are times when trying to help out goes wrong and you wish you had just minded your own business from the get-go.

You’re walking down the street and you see the street light flashing multiple signals at once. You simply grab the closest object to reach and fix it, then the entire signal light falls in the middle of the road way. What do you do? Walk away and act like it didn’t happen, or explain to authorities they did a poor job of installing the light?
