Peep Out The Recap From The Southern Tea Awards Show [PICTURES]

This past weekend was the first ever Southern Tea Awards in Lafayette. The event was organized by Southern Tea Magazine creator Destinee Livings. What was special about this event was the fact that it was organized to showcase and spotlight artist, deejays, radio stations, promoters and businesses here in Louisiana.

The Peoples Station 107 Jamz was nominated as Radio Station of the year amongst some heavyweights in the area. Big Boy Chill and myself was able to go and represent for our station and network as usual. Unfortunately we didn't win the crown for the nomination, but it was truly a great feeling to be acknowledge for out work that we do in the community and on the air. There was plenty of activity and fun in the building and you can believe that there will be another one on next year.
