Christopher "Play" Martin will be  taking on hosting duties for the eleventh annual Holy Hip-Hop Awards.  The event will take place later this month in downtown Atlanta at the North Event Venue and Lounge on April 17th.

The show brings to light gospel Mcs like Kurtis Blow, Grand Master Caz and Ma$e.  This years nominees include Mobsters of Light, Che Che Da Supastar, Halo & Rein plus many more.  These artists though not known in the mainstream world are very when know within the Christian realm.

By the way, Play currently teaches a bi-weekly class called Hip-Hop Seminar at Florida's FAMU in Tallahassee.  There, he serves as a professional-in-residence with the schools newly minted Institute for Hop-Hop and Music Industry Studies since January.
