Though some choose to deny it, a blind man can see there's a racial issue at the root of 90% of white police murders, shootings and beatings involving black men and boys. The other factor....is fear.  Speaking of which, both George Zimmerman and Officer Wilson described their victims as looking like demons.

This is not to say ALL white police officers are bad or ALL black police officers are good. I personally know wonderful police officers and sheriff officers that would give you the shirt off their back.  There really are some good people wearing badges out there.  The statement above is strictly in relation to the white, racist, trigger happy police officers who hide behind the badge and murder unarmed black men and boys.  It's about the same crime, happening to the same victims, by the same people.

The sad truth is, countless unarmed black men and boys are being murdered in this country by killer cops and NOTHING is being done about it.   America's justice system has been broken for a very long time when it pertains to this very matter and time and time again, has failed Rodney King, Eric Garner, Trayvon MartinOscar GrantSean Bell,  Amadou DiallosMichael Brown, and the list goes on and on.  All of them.....unarmed and black.

The numbers are staggering and it's clear this is no coincidence.  A couple of days ago a white rookie cop shot and killed 12-year Tamir Rice, after a 911 caller said he saw the boy with a gun that was 'probably fake'.

Police officer Timothy Loehmann, 26, chose to use lethal force against the child.  Why? Granted the gun did look real, but it wasn't.  It was a BB gun.  In a perfect world had the officer taken a few moments to determine that, the outcome would have been different.   Instead he shot Tamir, 1 to 2 seconds after driving up to the park where the child was playing by himself.  Even worse after shooting the child in the stomach, neither he nor his partner, 46-year old Frank Garmback, attempted to provide CPR, help or comfort him in any way.  Rather, these so-called trained policemen watched as the child struggled to breathe.

FBI agents close by, also responded to the 911 call and arrived 4 minutes after Tamir was shot and THEY tried to administer CPR.  But it was to late and the 12-year old died.  The entire incident was caught on surveillance camera from a near by building.  For now, the officers are on paid leave.

The outcry is unanimous, because these same murders keep happening over and over. People are saying #BlackLivesMatter and enough, is enough.  Americans of all races and ethnic backgrounds are tired of these senseless and heinous murders of unarmed black men and boys.   In the wake of the "no indictment/no charge" verdict in the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, thousands have taken to the streets in protest against killer cops who go unpunished, racial profiling and police brutality in several cities across the nation.

Hearing the call to action loud and clear, AllHipHop reports today ( Dec. 1) President Obama announced he will sign an executive order that will require all police officers and agencies receiving military-style equipment, be trained on how to properly use their gear and add more resources for police department reform.  After meetings with his cabinet, civil rights leaders, several prominent Ferguson protest leaders, law enforcement officials and others, the President let it be known, some major changes are coming to America's police departments.

Along with that order, AllHipHop reports the White House has pledged an additional $75 million in federal funds to equip over 50, 000 officers with body cameras.  This was an issue that Michael Brown's parents have been fighting for, ever since his death in early August.

The NyPost reports in addition to that, President Obama ordered a review of federal programs that fund military gear for local police.  A direct result of the Ferguson police meeting protesters with armored tanks, tear gas and military assault weapons, as if they were in a third-world country.   Today was the second time Ferguson leaders met with administration officials at the White House.  The first was in September and more than likely there will be many more to come.

There's no doubt the President understands what it is to be a black man in America.  In spite of holding the highest office in the land, he deals with unimaginable hatred, racial slurs, death threats and shameful disrespect on a daily basis.  Through the consistent humiliation, the president has remained humble, proven to have great restraint, dignity, humility, unshaken poise and unmatched focus.

The disrespect towards President Obama has captured the attention of the world, erecting Facebook pages denouncing it.  Even further, President Obama graces the cover of Rolling Stone's October issue, where Nobel Prize- winning economist Paul Krugman wrote an amazing piece in defense of his presidency.  Canadian author, scriptwriter, and humour columnist, William Thomas also wrote a blog on how Americans blatantly disrespect the president.  He Americans saying, "The man is being challenged unfairly, characterized with vulgarity and treated with the kind of deep disrespect to which no previous president was subjected."  And it's very sad...but true.

Immediately after the Ferguson grand jury announced it's decision last week, President Obama addressed the nation.  He solemnly urged people to try and stay calm and welcomed protests, as long as they were peaceful.  He also publicly acknowledged their are often racial challenges faced by communities of color, when dealing with law enforcement.  He then said a larger conversation about such challenges is long overdue.
