Prince although gone is still very relevant in the music business. His siblings are currently going through the money situation and deciding how they will split the 300 Million fortune that has been left.
But one thing that Prince was, was a great business man. He is known for separating himself from his label of many years Warner Brothers and decided to emancipate himself and broker his own deals.

In 2000 he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jay brought up the fact that Mariah recently signed a 10 million dollar deal with her new label. Never being one who would shun his words or not speak on something. He really broke it down on what goes on in the industry and how that 10 million dollar deal is really nothing to brag about.
