R. Kelly needs your help. The Chicago singer-producer wants to continue his music soap opera ‘Trapped in the Closet’ but he’s financially unable to release it to the public. In an interview with TMZ, Kellz revealed that he has 32 chapters ready to go. WTF?

Now that’s a lot of stories to have trapped in a closet. Ha! According to Kelly, ‘Trapped in the Closet’ is his attempt at movie directing through music and now he’s needs a Steven Spielberg budget to produce it. “It cost a lot of money to do it, so I’m looking for investors,” he said. “32 more chapters, you guys have to find out what the package is.”

The ‘Trapped in the Closet’ series was Kelly’s creative yet hilarious project that started in 2005 with five chapters on his ‘TP.3 Reloaded’ album. The serial continued through 2007 with 22 chapters completed overall.

Maybe R. Kelly should go ask some of his friends in the music biz to help him fund the project.

In the meantime, Kellz is going to be very busy in 2012. He’s planning to release his memoir ‘Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me’ in the spring. Plus, he’s scheduled to headline a ‘Love Letter Cruise’ to the Bahamas in October 2012.
