New York based Hot 97’s host Peter Rosenberg lost his cool with a police officer who called up to weigh in on the death of the Baton Rouge man shot by police. The incident  caught on camera has since gone viral, and has sparked outrage in not just the African American community, but amongst people of all ethnic backgrounds.

The conversation led to Rosenberg asking the officer if the situation “looked bad" in how the two officers from the Baton Rouge Police Department tackled and pinned Alton Sterling to the ground before shooting him at point-blank range. The officer couldn’t give a direct answer, which led the morning show host to ask, “Can you say the words, it looks bad?” Rosenberg then lost it further starting “This is the problem I have with police officers, and no disrespect to you. Ya’ll don’t ever want to point at someone else and say, you can’t do your job well!"

The phone conversation got pretty intense, with Rosenberg citing:

“Police officers never want to say when ya’ll do a bad job. So, that’s the reason the public thinks all of you are bad, because you won’t ever call someone out and say they murdered someone in cold blood! It happened again, and until you guys start taking responsibility for your own, people in the street are going to be upset instead! So how about ya’ll lead the movement instead?! How about instead of people rioting, police officers get out in front of it themselves, and you guys are the first ones on the front lines?! That’s what should happen, instead of you struggling to say, (well, I don’t know, it could be). They murdered that man! We just saw it!

Fast forward to the 7:45 mark in the video to watch the morning show host’s emotional message to the police officer, who was in disagreeance with Rosenberg’s statement, which lead to more that you have to watch in the video above.
