Rapper Nelly Detained – Tour Bus Seized for Heroin, Marijuana, and a Handgun
October 12, 2012 7:00 AM Nelly was detained for several hours for “alleged possession of heroin, marijuana, and a .45 caliber pistol in Texas.” According to TMZ.com

“The rapper famed for songs like, “E.I.,” “Hot in Here,” and others was stopped on his bus at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
While performing a search at border patrol, authorities found 36 small baggies of heroin (totaling .64 ounces) and over 10 pounds of marijuana inside a large green duffel bag.
According to sources, a man named Brian Keith Jones admitted to owning the drugs and gun, and was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
Nelly and his entourage on the bus were later released.”
