Rapper Webbie went live on his personal Instagram account this week while on the way to the hospital after he says he was suffering from a seizure.

On July 5, the "My People" rapper was arrested for reportedly fighting with his "girlfriend" at a Baton Rouge hotel in the early morning hours. He was held in a parish jail for "aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree battery, domestic abuse by strangulation, false imprisonment, theft, and simple criminal damage to property."

Webbie has since refuted those claims that he abused the young woman, and even alluded to the allegations in the video above. At one point he asks anyone watching to "Pray for me! I don't care who don't like me," as someone in the back ground massages his back to calm him.

What I'm about to say may get me a phone call, but I don't care, I'll deal with it if it comes. I've always had a genuine concern for Webbie, stemming from a time where I interviewed him several years ago. It wasn't long before rapper and label-mate Boosie Badazz would be released from prison.

Webbie gave me the impression that he was a man who not only loved his children and family dearly, but he also loved God, as he thanked him tremendously. But, the rapper also seemed troubled to me. His conversation was all over the place, but I managed to make the best of it. Not mention he was wearing the same clothes days later when he returned to perform at a concert in Lake Charles. It's something mutual friends of ours contributed to "that's just how Webbie is," of which I just didn't agree with.

I could have exploited my interview with the rapper by submitting it to major websites, but I refused to exploit him during a time when he was just banned from BET for his actions on television series "106 & Park," and then later his inappropriate comments made at a red carpet event about his private parts. I'm not that guy, I actually give a damn about people, even those I don't know, so I didn't use the interview as my personal gain. I was not going to do it by any means. Something is going on with the beloved Louisiana rapper, what? I have no idea, but I've always felt something wasn't right. With what's been happening with him in the news lately, I feel like it's finally showing.

In summary, I've always felt something was going on with the beloved Louisiana rapper internally, but what? I have no idea, but I've always felt something wasn't right. With what's been happening with him in the news lately, I feel like it's finally showing that he needs help. I just hope those closest to him see the need just as much as I did all those years ago.

Get well soon Webbie! With love, Big Boy Chill.
