According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC), rapper Young Dro was recently arrested for theft in the Atlanta area.  The AJC reports Dro, whose real name is, Djuan Montreal Hart, was arrested on Saturday and booked on a theft charge.  According to DeKalb County jail records the 36-year old rapper was charged with theft by conversion of leased or rented personal property for an incident that occurred in February.

In other news, as reported yesterday Jay Z had a huge announcement after closing a $56 million for a new music streaming service called Tidal.   That announcement came via a press conference that AllHipHop.com reports, will change the music industry changed forever.  Alicia Keys announced to the world that she along with Jay Z, Beyonce', J. Cole, Kanye West, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Usher and more have all joined forces in the first ever artist owned music platform.

The songstress said of the new music service, "Our goal is simple. We want to create a better service and a better experience for both fans and artists."  If you missed the announcement, peep the video below and get the scoop.

Finally Wale drops his new album, The Album About Nothing today.  BET.com reports the rapper has a lot to be happy about these days.  However, that wasn't always the case.  Wale sat down with  Billboard.com and spoke about darker days.  The Maybach MC actually reveals what events led him to that time in his life on his new track "Matrimony," featuring Usher.

Back to his sit-down with Billboard, Wale talked battling everything from depression to taking drugs and alcohol to deal with the tough times he was going through.  He spoke about losing his confidence and turning to drugs to get through interviews and performing. He also opened up about trying for years to have a baby in a previous relationship, only to suffer a miscarriage at 11 weeks.

In an excerpt of the interview the rapper said,

"I was visualizing my child's face. We gave it a name and everything. All of that went away. And a couple of months before that, one of my closest friends died in a car accident, a cousin that was there for me through blood, sweat and tears. So I go through all that and I go online and some white kid is saying, 'You dumb n****r, you'll never be as good as J. Cole.' You put all that together…"
