Recorded Scam Concerning SSN: What You Should Know

I got an automated call today telling me my social security number had been suspended because it was compromised. If you get this same call, do not follow any prompts the recording gives you. Furthermore, do not press any buttons or answer any questions from a person claiming your SSN has been stolen. This is a scam.

If you think your social security number was stolen, if you answered any questions, or gave any info to a suspected scam caller, notify your local social security administration immediately.
