In a report from MTV News, rapper Remy Ma was NOT released from prison yesterday.  A public information officer, Linda Foglia, with the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision told MTV, “Remy Smith’s tentative release date of July 31 was postponed due to a misbehavior report involving a July 21 incident for phone violations, particularly third party calling.”

According to Revolt, a New York State parole officer said the Bronx femcee wasn't released because of something entirely different.   Get the scoop on that below inside Tha Wire post.  In the meantime, MTV News reports the violation stems from Remy calling into Angie Martinez’s radio show on Power 105 on July 21st.

Though she didn’t say it, Foglia implied with her “third party calling” statement, that the rapper abused her phone privileges by getting someone on her call list, to forward the call the radio station.   An that is a big no, no.

At any rate, when asked when about a new release date for the rapper Foglia told MTV “We expect to resolve that misbehavior report sometime in the next week or so.” By the way it wasn’t till noon that Papoose, Remy’s family and friends weren’t informed of her delayed release.  On this I’ll keep you posted.

Finally, soon A$AP Rocky fans with get a chance to get a closer look at the rappers day to day.  A 5-part documentary, SVDDXNLY, is being developed around his opening run during Rihanna’s “Diamonds Tour”.  Allhiphop reports a video crew trailed the Harlem MC and created the doc from their extensive footage of his trek on the road, which also features Drake and Snoop Dogg.

SVDDXNLY (pronounced “Suddenly”) was produced and directed by David Lavin who told THR  “Literally, two days in… Rocky was just like, ‘Can you guys just stay with us the whole tour?’ We came back and started editing, and this seven-minute piece we were going to make turned into an hour-long film.”
