Rick Ross will be adding another role to his acting resume. Today (Dec. 19), BET confirmed via Billboard that the rapper has been cast to star in season two of Irv Gotti's hit show, Tales.

Tales is a show that brings to life various songs from hip-hop's past and present in a compelling drama. In addition to Ross, season two will also star Bella Thorne, Scarface, DeRay Davis, and Grace Byers, among others. Songs slated to be rendered onto the small screen this season include Mary J. Blige's "My Life," Nas' "I Gave You Power," Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," Lauryn Hill's "Ex Factor," Geto Boys' "Mind Playing Tricks on Me," Migos and Gucci Mane's "Slippery," Lil Uzi Vert's "XO TOUR Llif3," and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's "Deep Cover."

"Tales season two with BET promises to be even bigger and more entertaining than the first season," Irv Gotti said in a statement to Billboard. "We had some incredible breakthroughs with season one, but fans should look for surprises and big guest appearances for season two. We plan to give people even more hip-hop cultured TV."
