Rihanna filed a lawsuit against her former accountants at the New York City firm Berdon LLP in 2012.  The Pop Diva claims they’re the reason the IRS audited her, they told her she was nearing bankruptcy, or that her "Last Girl on Earth Tour" was losing money.  Rihanna who’s real name is Robyn Fenty, accuses Paul Gounis's firm of advising her to buy a mansion for 7.5 million only to find the house was filled with mold, leaks and other major problems.  The songstress claims it was so bad, that she was forced to sell the crib at a $2 million loss.

However, RiRi’s accusations on the Berdon firms alleged financial mismanagement, is now being addressed.  Paul Gounis says no ones to blame but Riahnna herself saying the singer “squandered her own money away."  Gounis filed some papers of his own Wednesday (March 19), denying the 26-year-old's claims, firing back saying she squandered $9 million in one year.

Needless to say, Gounis, his partner Michael Mitnick, and his firm have all filed motions to have the trial dismissed. It is currently scheduled for May 12.    Learn more inside Tha Wire below.
