River Bluff Park - Phase II Opens To The Public Saturday November

Good news, the second and biggest phase of the all new River Bluff Park is just about complete. River Bluff Park, is located at 543 Theriot Road in Moss Bluff. Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and Ward 1 proudly announce a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Friday November 3, 2017 at 10 a.m. The entire public is invited to participate and celebrate another beautiful park the community can enjoy.

Phase I was completed in 2015, and features a unique boat launch. Recreational boating is a breeze, allowing residents to launch three boats at a time. The new boating area also includes a parking lot large enough to accommodate up to 50 boat trailers.

Phase II of River Bluff Park includes a splash pad, a fitness area, and a quarter-mile walking path, and a new family restroom facility. In addition the park will have inclusive features such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible picnic areas, and playgrounds with accessible features for children of all capabilities. Saturday November 4, 2017 the park will be officially open to the public.
