Temporary Road Closure: 3rd Avenue in Lake Charles

Lake Charles, La. — On Mon., Feb. 15, the 1000 block of 3rd Ave. between 2nd St. and 3rd St. will be temporarily closed to traffic. The closure is expected to last for approximately five days, said Matt Young from the City of Lake Charles.

The temporary closure is scheduled to allow the installation of a new sewer line.

Businesses and residences in the area will continue to have access, but be aware of posted detour routes.
