Russell Simmons Gets His Props

Hip-Hop isn't the only thing Russell Simmons gets honored for. Yes, it's safe to say that Russell Simmons is a Hip-Hop Mogul but he's much more than that.  A Philanthropist!  He has made a gigantic impact on music but also the clothing and shoe industry as well.

That being said, Russell will be honored at the American Business Awards later this month.  There he will receive the Difference Maker Award for his influence in not only music and fashion, but finance, film and philanthropy over the past 30 years.

The American Business Awards is a premier awards program presented by the Stevie Awards and will take place on the 20th of this month in the NYC.  Coodles to Russell!
