Safaree had no interest in taking the high road. Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend jumped at the opportunity to mock her much publicized breakup with Meek Mill by posting a joke on Twitter.

"Hey big head," Safaree wrote today (Jan. 5).

Safaree's split from Nicki was far from cordial as he ended up bringing a lawsuit against the pop star. Safaree claimed he played significant role in much of the music Nicki released and was looking for compensation. Safaree would ultimately drop the lawsuit, saying that he didn't have time to deal with it.

“I dropped everything,” he said in an interview. “I had started a process and then I just was like, ‘You know what, it is what it is. If you wanna deal with it like that, go ahead. I ain’t tripping.’ I’m doin’ a lot and I don’t want to be having to deal with depositions and courts and all of that. Ain’t nobody threaten me. Ain’t nobody make me do it. At the end of the day, I didn’t even want to do it. I just know, if it was me and the shoe was on the other foot, I would have handled it and said, ‘Yo, peace out. Here, do what you gotta do, thats it.’ I just dropped it.”

Safaree and Nicki's post-breakup relationship has been antagonistic to say the least, but Safaree said he's willing to be friends if Nicki "put her pride to the side."
