Late last week I was excited about the news of a new book from rapper Scarface. The book is called "Diary Of A Madman" and I am more then halfway through with it and can not put it down. The book talks about the beginning of Rap A Lot, Scarface as an artist and the beginning of The Geto Boys. He also talks about hip hop in general and the effect it had on his music.

He recently stopped The Breakfast Club and they had a very in depth interview where he discussed possibly doing a joint album with Nas and his current relationship with Rap A Lot boss J Prince. This is possibily one of the most intimate interviews that we have seen him do. For a fan like myself this is something that has been long overdue.

Scarface talking with The Breakfast Club:

Waiting and anticipating is exactly what I will be doing when it comes to the new album from Scarface. This is a legend in the game of hip hop and there is not one mc out there who can honestly say that they haven't been influenced in one way or another. This is one of my favorite Scarface songs from back in the day.
